Today, we are recruiting for a Site Quality Engineer to join our team in UAE. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
You will supervise and monitor on-site QA/QC activities, ensuring execution is aligned with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes and standards.
You will prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including ITPs, checklists, inspection records, and support the creation of method statements for installation activities.
You will perform material inspections for signaling and asset protection equipment, review installation documentation and test results, and ensure compliance through regular audits and daily site visits.
You will oversee the handover process through Inspection Test Reports (ITRs), covering material inspections, installation works, and testing & commissioning sign-off.
You will drive quality improvement through root cause analysis, statistical reporting of NCRs, KPIs, CARs, and contribute to monthly monitoring of project quality KPIs.
You will support quality training as per the approved plan, promote continuous improvement, and evaluate contractors site performance to provide feedback to Procurement and Quality Management.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
You Understand quality management systems (ISO 9001) ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit / Lead Auditor is mandatory
You have 3-5 years of experience in railway signaling projects with solid knowledge of signaling systems, railway safety, and quality standards.
You bring hands-on experience with QA/QC techniques including root cause analysis, quality audits, and preferably Six Sigma.
You demonstrate excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple project sites.
You are proficient in relevant digital tools.
You are willing to be based full-time on-site in Al Ain, UAE, with flexibility for project travel as needed.
You hold a valid UAE or GCC driving license.
