As a Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service within our automotive service department. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the main point of contact for customers seeking assistance and service for their vehicles. By effectively managing work orders and coordinating with technicians, you will ensure a seamless and efficient service experience. Your ability to communicate clearly and build trust will be critical in nurturing long-lasting relationships with our clients. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival at the service center.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle repair and maintenance needs.
  • Provide customers with service recommendations based on vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost estimates and service work orders to customers.
  • Maintain open communication with customers regarding service progress and any changes needed.
  • Schedule appointment times and coordinate the timely completion of vehicle services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering clear explanations of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with technicians to verify that services rendered meet quality standards.
  • Process service payments and manage invoicing, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to address any residual issues or questions.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Stay informed on automotive service industry trends and new service offerings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent level of education required for applicants.
  • Prior experience in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to effectively manage multiple customers and tasks.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn service management software.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service experience.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
