The SEO Lead plays a critical role in driving organic search strategies and leading a dynamic team to ensure that our online assets receive optimal visibility on search engines. This position involves the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive SEO programs to drive significant traffic, enhance user experience, and improve conversions. Working closely with digital marketing, content, and development teams, the SEO Lead ensures the integration of SEO best practices in all digital campaigns and projects. A successful candidate will be well-versed in the latest SEO tools and trends, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to train and mentor team members effectively. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about search engine behavior, user experience, and digital marketing innovation.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic SEO plans to improve organic search rankings.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance and key metrics regularly.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for content improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, analysts, and junior staff.
  • Coordinate with developers to optimize website architecture, URLs, page speed, and mobile compatibility.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in content creation.
  • Stay updated with SEO industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.
  • Identify and resolve SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and HTML improvements.
  • Develop link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and referral traffic.
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console for site analysis.
  • Recommend and implement technical SEO enhancements and online marketing plans.
  • Advocate and foster SEO awareness and culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and others.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team of SEO specialists.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with team collaboration experience.
  • Strong understanding of current SEO practices, algorithms, and guidelines.
