Senior Technologist - Milling Solutions

Bühler Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for a passionate professional to join our team as Senior Technologist – Milling Solutions for the Middle East region. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role for an experienced miller who thrives on solving challenges, leading change, and working closely with some of the regions largest flour milling groups.

This is where youll excel

• Conduct comprehensive mill surveys and performance assessments; identify and recommend high-impact optimization initiatives.
• Consult senior head millers and technical directors on-site, providing expertise in commissioning, calibration, modifications, and process upgrades.
• Support Bühler sales and service teams with technical guidance and serve as a trusted advisor to multi-site key accounts.
• Develop, review, and validate flow diagrams and technical concepts in accordance with Bühler standards.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, automation, and service teams to deliver fully integrated, executable solutions.
• Deliver advanced training programs for customer teams, including senior operators and head millers.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships, demonstrate strong business acumen and a deep understanding of client requirements.
• Provide experience-based feedback to global Bühler stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  
  

These are the skills youll need

• Certification in Milling from Swiss Milling School or African Milling School or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 10 of years of experience in industrial flour milling, including commissioning and team leadership.
• Deep hands-on expertise in mill setup, adjustments, retrofits, and performance optimization.
• Exceptional communicator and influencer, effective with senior millers and executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of driving outcomes by aligning technical, engineering, and business priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% regionally.
