Senior Structural Engineer 08M26

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the structural engineering aspects of our projects from conception through completion. You will collaborate closely with other engineering professionals, architects, and project managers to deliver innovative and efficient structural designs that meet our clients' needs. You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to the development and implementation of engineering best practices within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Develop and review structural designs to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects and construction teams to integrate structural solutions.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform complex structural analysis and problem-solving on various projects.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster their professional development.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and solve arising issues.
• Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met effectively through design.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in structural engineering.
• Participate in project management meetings to report on structural progress.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on structural engineering activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering roles.
• Proven experience with structural analysis software and design tools.
• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering codes and construction regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor staff.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
