Job Summary:

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of construction projects for a building contractor. This role involves developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that deadlines are met in a cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibility

• Develop project schedules using software tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to create detailed project plans.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
• Analyze data and reports to make recommendations for optimizing project schedules.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on project timelines and milestones.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
