Job Description
- Lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across technology and IT procurement categories.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and drive procurement best practices.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFI, RFP and RFQ processes, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract implementation.
- Conduct supplier, market and spend analysis to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and support informed decision-making.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage supplier relationships to deliver optimal commercial, operational and service outcomes.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and drive continuous improvement across sourcing activities.
- Lead, coach and develop procurement team members, providing guidance on sourcing best practices, project execution and stakeholder management while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, Finance or Engineering background preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience within a multinational organisation.
- Strong experience across technology and IT sourcing categories, with exposure to leading global technology vendors.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiations, category management, stakeholder management, and strategic sourcing.
- Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and relationship management skills. CIPS certification and experience with SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms are advantageous.
