Overview

We are looking for a Senior Research Manager to join the custom research team at Publicis Groupe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and delivering impactful research projects, with a preference for dualist expertise or a quantitative focus paired with solid qualitative understanding and experience. Significant experience in conducting studies across the MENA region, along with proficiency in Arabic, is highly desirable given our strong regional client base.

This role combines client management, hands-on project execution, and team management. The Senior Manager will oversee client-facing research, provide hands-on support, and lead a small team to deliver high-quality insights that drive client success.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in market research, preferably within an agency setting, with a proven track record in client-facing roles. At least 4 years of recent experience conducting studies in the MENA region.
  • Expertise in designing and managing end-to-end brand health trackers, campaign impact assessments and creative tests in MENA.
  • Experience in managing qualitative research projects such as U&As, concept assessments as well as integrating qual and quant insights.
  • Expertise in designing and managing end-to-end quantitative research projects, including BHTs, campaign impact assessments, etc.
  • Experience with any of these solutions would be a plus; market segmentation, conjoint, MaxDiff, UX Research.
  • Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the MENA region, particularly KSA and UAE, including cultural nuances, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to interpret both qual and quant data.
  • A natural curiosity for understanding human behavior, cultural & research trends.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management abilities.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and collaboration.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and multimethodology projects.
  • Proactive approach with a strong problem-solving mindset.
