JOB TITLE

Senior Manager - Leasing | MAF Properties | Head Office

Role Summary

The position is mainly responsible to manage and maximize leasing revenue for the assigned portfolio, ensuring implementation of best practices defined by the SMBU Corporate Leasing and overseeing performance of Leasing team, and managing key tenant relationships.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Leasing Revenue Accountability: Responsible for maximizing leasing revenue across the assigned portfolio and ensuring best practices are implemented by the Leasing team.
  • Leasing Strategy & Planning: Review and provide input on asset-level leasing plans in alignment with corporate policies and support strategic planning, including 3-year asset strategies.
  • Team Oversight & Performance: Supervise, guide, and mentor the Leasing team in contract negotiations, lease renewals, and overall leasing operations.
  • Tenant Relations: Maintain and manage key tenant relationships while actively seeking new leasing opportunities.
  • Budgeting & Financial Inputs: Contribute to leasing budget preparation and provide inputs for feasibility studies, including rental estimates and tenant mix.
  • Issue Resolution & Compliance: Escalate key leasing issues, ensure adherence to company policies and Code of Conduct, and promote compliance.
  • Talent Development: Provide regular performance feedback, identify development areas, and support professional growth and talent recognition within the team.
  • Leadership & Culture: Lead by example, fostering a transparent, collaborative, and value-driven work culture aligned with MAFP values.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 – 11 years of progressive experience in managing all aspects of Leasing function in a highly dynamic organization, preferably Retail / Large Shopping Malls / major Real Estate in GCC or abroad
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent field
