Key Areas of Expertise

  • 15+ years of techno-functional experience in managing Cash Management Products for the Wholesale Banking
  • Strong knowledge of Payments & Collections products, including Payments, Virtual Accounts, Liquidity Management & Pooling Structures, Acquiring, Escrow and also Payment Channels including Host 2 Host, API Banking, SWIFT for Corporate.
  • Expertise and in-depth knowledge of Product Structure offerings, System capabilities and industry norms/nuances including leading technical discussions with the client to drive embedded solutions
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, communication, and interpersonal interaction
  • Extensive knowledge of the Local & Regional Payments and Banking landscape.
  • Proven track record of managing clients and stakeholders effectively


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the strategy across the C&IB Portfolio for growth of Cash Management Revenue, encompassing Sales, Ideation, Solution Delivery, and Client Services, to meet revenue targets in alignment with Bank’s overall goals.
  • Enhance and expand strategic initiatives focused on increasing market share and ENBD share of wallet by using Analytics & Cash Maps to drive strategic discussions with Coverage and Client.
  • Lead and mentor a team of transaction banking professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Maintain a high awareness of technology, industry trends and competition offerings


Business Development

  • Offer advisory, leadership, and guidance for structuring and solutioning complex and bespoke deals, overseeing the entire process from origination to execution, and delivering customized Transaction Banking solutions for clients in the C&IB sector.
  • Champion Sales including structuring and advisory for complex Cash Management Deals, Utilization of Cash Management and Online Banking solutions as the preferred delivery channels in the bank. Initiate strategies and products which will ensure growth of Cash Balances and Income in form of Net Interest Income (NII) & Net Fee Income (NFI)).
  • Explore new business growth opportunities and establish strategic partnerships, to expand Emirates NBD’s transaction banking portfolio and conduct active coverage engagement to identify client specific opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions to enhance their overall banking experience.
  • Drive revenue growth by effectively cross-selling transaction banking products and services.
  • Work closely with Coverage to ensure the seamless integration of Cash product offerings into client solutions.


Product Management

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for product development, emphasizing innovation and competitive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ideate and provide innovative Cash product structures and solutions
  • Work closely with product teams to ensure products align with market trends, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.


Risk Management and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant banking regulations, standards, policies, and protocols across all transaction banking products and services, collaborating closely with Risk and Compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Mitigate operational and credit risks associated with transaction banking services by implementing robust controls and risk management protocols.
