In the pivotal role of Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for software excellence. As a crucial member of the team, you will design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions, review system requirements, and track quality assurance metrics. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of our company by ensuring our deliverables are consistent, reliable, and functional, while liaising with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure the highest quality output. Striving for operational excellence, you will play a critical role in developing, enforcing, and championing quality processes to enhance customer satisfaction and promote the reputation of our brand. Your ability to lead by example and mentor junior members of the team will also support our continued success in delivering superior products.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies to cover all software requirements and business needs.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated scripts using state-of-art testing tools.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and project managers to ensure product requirements are met.
  • Oversee and conduct thorough testing of software applications across multiple platforms.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly for efficient resolution.
  • Lead and manage QA teams, providing guidance on best practices and methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of high-quality work by developing quality benchmarks and processes.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing input on functional requirements, product designs, and schedules.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of QA documentation and standards.
  • Stay updated with latest testing tools and techniques to enhance current methodologies.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field essential.
  • Proven 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance or closely related role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes required.
  • In-depth experience with both white-box and black-box testing strategies.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing tools highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Solid understanding of performance and security testing processes desirable.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and keeping abreast of industry advancements.
