About The Role
This role is part of the G-SPI (Global support for platform integrity) team and is focused on document operations. Earner identity needs to be verified before they can start earning on the Uber platform. This is done through collecting essential identity documents and verifying them against the legal policies. This is crucial for ensuring that Ubers doc processing operations remain compliant to the regulatory standards. EMEA has multiple different rules and regulations and they can differ widely country by country. Ensuring that these rules are upheld is imperative to ensure that Uber remains compliant with its licensing requirements to operate in the given country.
As part of the G-SPI Identity team your job will be to ensure that the doc processing program continuously evolves to meet the regional requirements and work closely to advocate for the changes across cross functional teams including Product, Policy, Operations, Vendor Operations etc.
