Job Description

The Senior FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst plays a critical role in the financial backbone of an organization, providing deep insights, financial projections, and strategic planning. This position requires a keen analytical mind capable of interpreting financial data and trends to guide decision-making processes. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed financial models, coordinating with various departments to gather necessary data, and providing comprehensive reports that aid in strategic planning. You will also be expected to improve and implement analysis processes within the organization to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making. Your insights will drive business performance and ensure that senior management has reliable financial information to make informed business decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to integrate business and financial strategies.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to identify trends and variances.
  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management.
  • Support the company's strategic planning initiatives through financial insights and modeling.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance indicators and metrics.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial analysis.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support various business decisions and investments.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial and operational audits.
  • Monitor key metrics and KPIs to drive business decisions and organizational strategy.
  • Guide junior analysts in their analysis, reporting, and financial modeling tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines for all financial activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis software tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings to senior management clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial/statistical analysis and reporting methodologies.
