Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and ensure sustainable growth.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, monitor financial performance, and provide accurate forecasts to the management team.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax regulations, and other financial laws.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the companys assets and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, mentoring and empowering them to achieve excellence.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control costs across the organization, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- System and Process Optimization: Drive the adoption of advanced financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA is required.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and regulatory compliance in the UAE.
- Proven experience in managing large budgets and driving cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Background in media, advertising, or related industries is preferred but not mandatory.
