Job Description

As a Patient Relations Executive, you will play a vital role in bridging communication between patients and healthcare providers. Your primary objective is to ensure patient satisfaction by addressing concerns, providing clear information, and improving the overall patient experience. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a healthcare environment centered around empathy and trust. By collaborating closely with medical staff, you will help to streamline processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies that enhance operational efficiency. Your role will also involve data collection, analysis of patient feedback, and promoting initiatives to improve service quality. Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Facilitate resolution of patient complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient care and service delivery.
  • Collect and analyze patient feedback to identify areas needing improvement.
  • Organize and conduct surveys to gather patient satisfaction data periodically.
  • Implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and experience consistently.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
  • Participate in health care audits and report findings to management.
  • Advocate for patient rights and ensure their concerns are adequately addressed.
  • Train and guide healthcare staff on patient care best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports on patient relations activities and their outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a patient relations or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage challenging situations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with healthcare policies and patient confidentiality laws is required.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and other related tools.
