The Senior Executive - Commercial Planning is a critical role that focuses on the strategic coordination and execution of commercial initiatives within an organization. This position involves in-depth analysis, development, and implementation of commercial strategies aimed at boosting sales, enhancing customer relationships, and achieving overall business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of market dynamics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally. They will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive commercial strategies. This role demands excellent communication skills and a keen ability to transform analytical insights into actionable plans that drive business performance and growth.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business goals and sales objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to execute integrated commercial plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives and strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to align on strategic business priorities and planning.
  • Manage the financial budgeting and forecasting processes for commercial operations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial activities and strategies.
  • Create detailed commercial reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the commercial planning team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all commercial activities.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to align product offerings with market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial planning or related roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commercial strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and consumer data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software is preferred.
