Responsibilities

  • Identify trends and insights through data analysis to inform strategic planning.

  • Generate detailed reports and present findings to senior management to support decision making.
  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Support the preparation of business cases and product development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business forecasts and planning.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry changes and new statistical modelling techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial or financial analysis role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis software is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting analysis and insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Proven track record of developing models and providing strategic business recommendations.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage.
  • Critical thinking and ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
