Senior Accountant (225-715)

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the finance department by providing comprehensive financial insights and analyses that guide critical business decisions. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of accurate financial reports, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. In addition, your expertise will be instrumental in financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of detailed financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements across all financial operations.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external audits and reviews.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes diligently and accurately.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and systems.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasting financial metrics.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff in their professional development.
• Ensure timely submission of all financial and regulatory reporting.
• Manage tax preparations and filings in compliance with legal standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance on financial strategic planning and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum five years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively and timely.
