The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met while simultaneously driving company growth. This role demands a dynamic individual who is adept at managing ongoing projects, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets. The Senior Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the company and its clients, which requires excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the field. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure retention.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of assigned accounts with strategic oversight.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively provide solutions that align with company offerings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
  • Develop and execute client account management strategies to maximize satisfaction and revenue.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, including sales forecasts and risk analysis.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and new business within existing clients.
  • Assist in the negotiation and closing of coverage renewals with clients and other parties.
  • Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to build network and client relationships.
  • Mentor junior account managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and client contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or related roles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and account management targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at various levels.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical approach to challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
