Job Summary

On behalf of our UAE-based client in the Real Estate & Construction Technology sector, we are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Specialist with strong ABAP, RAP, CDS, and Fiori expertise. The role involves analysis, design, and development of SAP technical objects, extending standard Fiori applications, and building RAP-based applications and REST APIs, while following clean core principles. This position follows a remote-first work model and is open to candidates seeking full-time, part-time, or contract-based opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, and documentation for enhancements of ABAP objects
• Design and develop CDS-based modelling and performance tuning
• Extend standard Fiori apps and migrate existing custom fields using custom fields and logic
• Design and develop RAP-based applications
• Develop REST APIs
• Work on RICEFW objects
• Develop reports based on event-driven business objects
• Follow clean core principles throughout design and development
  
  

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of relevant SAP technical development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori, including extending standard apps
• Proficiency in CDS Views development and performance tuning
• Experience with SAP BTP/BAS (Business Technology Platform / Business Application Studio)
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Working knowledge of RICEFW objects
• Understanding of clean core principles for SAP development
  
  

AI Experience

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools within SAP BAS or equivalent IDEs is a plus
• Interest in applying AI-assisted coding tools for faster development, debugging, and documentation
  
  

Managerial Experience

• This is an individual contributor role; candidates should demonstrate strong technical ownership and the ability to collaborate with functional, QA, and platform teams
  
  

Operational Experience

• Experience supporting and enhancing live SAP technical objects in production environments
• Experience developing and maintaining event-driven reports and business objects
• Hands-on experience optimizing the performance of CDS views and the underlying data models to improve application efficiency and scalability.
• Experience following clean core and upgrade-safe development practices
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
• 6–9 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP ABAP/RAP/Fiori development
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and open for effective collaboration with globally distributed engineering and business teams as per requirement.
  
  

Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

• SAP Certified Development Associate (ABAP/RAP/Fiori) or equivalent
• Any relevant SAP BTP certification is a plus
