The SAP B1 Consultant plays a critical role in implementing and managing SAP Business One solutions to help companies streamline their business processes and improve their operational efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of how businesses work across various sectors, along with technical expertise in the SAP Business One software. The consultant will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, configure the software solution, and ensure its successful deployment. This role also involves providing ongoing support and maintenance, as well as training users to maximize their use of the system. A successful SAP B1 Consultant must possess strong problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the technical acumen to manage project deliverables on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessment and gather client requirements for SAP Business One projects.
• Design and configure SAP B1 modules to meet specific client business needs.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality and performance.
• Conduct system integration and data migration to facilitate seamless operations.
• Train clients and end-users on using SAP B1 efficiently and effectively.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP B1 issues and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and solution development.
• Document project progress, changes, and adherence to client specifications thoroughly.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones achieved.
• Ensure the adherence to company policies and security standards during implementation.
• Research and recommend latest SAP B1 enhancements and best practices to clients.
• Manage client relationships and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with SAP Business One software solutions.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ERP principles across different industries.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities and complexities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts plainly.
• Certification in SAP B1 or related field is highly desirable for this role.
