Job Description

1. Product Promotion:

   - Actively promote specific products, medications, supplements, or health-related items available in the pharmacy.

   - Educate customers about the features, benefits, and uses of promoted products.

   - Use persuasive techniques to encourage customers to purchase promoted items.

2. Customer Service:

   - Greet customers as they enter the pharmacy and assist them with their inquiries and product needs.

   - Provide recommendations and advice on over-the-counter products, vitamins, and supplements based on customer needs and preferences.

   - Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.

3. Sales and Revenue Generation:**

   - Meet or exceed sales targets and goals set by the pharmacy management.

   - Actively upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales revenue.

   - Monitor inventory levels of promoted products and communicate with pharmacy staff to ensure adequate stock availability.

4. Product Knowledge:**

   - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promoted products, including their ingredients, uses, dosages, and potential side effects.

   - Stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings.

   - Attend training sessions or product presentations provided by pharmaceutical companies to enhance product knowledge.

5. Merchandising and Display:**

   - Assist with arranging product displays and ensuring that promotional materials are attractive and effectively positioned to capture customer attention.

   - Monitor the cleanliness and organization of product shelves and displays to create a positive shopping environment.

6. Compliance and Regulations:**

   - Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines related to the promotion and sale of medications and health products.

   - Ensure that promotional activities comply with applicable laws, such as restrictions on advertising and marketing of pharmaceuticals.

7. Reporting and Documentation:**

   - Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, including the quantity and type of products sold.

   - Prepare sales reports and summaries for management review, highlighting key performance metrics and trends.



Requirements

Qualifications:

   - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales, marketing, or pharmacy-related fields may be advantageous.

   - Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or promotional roles, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

   - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and build rapport.
