Job Description

A Sales Promoter is an enthusiastic and persuasive individual who plays a crucial role in generating interest and sales for a product or service. The primary goal of a Sales Promoter is to increase the market presence and penetration of a company's product by engaging directly with potential customers. This role involves working in diverse environments, such as retail stores, trade exhibitions, and community events, to showcase and demonstrate product benefits, ultimately encouraging purchases. Sales Promoters must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence customer decisions and improve the brand's overall reputation. The position requires an ambitious professional who is committed to meeting and exceeding sales targets through skillful customer engagement and relationship-building strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential customers to inform and persuade them about our products.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits comprehensively.
  • Build a positive brand image and encourage product recall among consumers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with store management and retail staff.
  • Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to adjust sales strategies.
  • Set up promotional stands and ensure they are visually appealing to attract customers.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets consistently in various retail environments.
  • Provide accurate information and handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Report on demonstration and sales outcomes, and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Analyze competitors’ products and sales techniques to stay competitive in the market.
  • Carry out post-promotional analysis to assess the success and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Promoter or similar role in marketing and sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Confident in public speaking and giving product demonstrations regularly.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a wider sales team.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and customer engagement strategies.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to different selling environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales or marketing is a plus.
