Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our business development strategies, overseeing and leading our sales team to achieve and exceed organizational objectives. You will be responsible for devising and driving sales initiatives that increase company revenue and expand our customer base. Your role demands a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of market trends and consumer needs. Working closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, you will identify new opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. Your ability to manage and motivate your team, coupled with your insight into the sales process, will be critical in modernizing sales strategies and enhancing performance metrics to support our company's ongoing growth.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping up to date on supply and demand.
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply demand.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business strategies.
  • Forecast sales to drive organizational planning and ensure stock availability aligns with customer demand.
  • Monitor sales team performance metrics and provide guidance and feedback to drive improvements.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise the sales staff to ensure a skilled and high-performing team.
  • Prepare and justify annual budgets and ensure effective budget management to meet financial objectives.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement in team efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field required.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-performing and successful sales team.
  • Extensive experience within the industry and high-level knowledge of the market.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client information and sales processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
