We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales Executive / Sales Engineer specializing in pumps to join our vibrant sales team. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of pump systems and have a proven track record of increasing sales revenue and building long-term client relationships. This role requires a proactive approach to identify and pursue new business opportunities and effectively manage existing customer accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, making technical presentations, and providing the highest level of customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the pump industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts to upper management.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product specifications.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide solutions to technical issues.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote company products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery and post-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff to improve their performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the pump industry.
  • Strong understanding of pump systems and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation.
