We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Cargo & Logistics division. This role is crucial for driving sales strategies and overseeing the growth of our logistics services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in both sales and logistics, demonstrating exceptional negotiation skills and a strong ability to build relationships with clients. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for identifying potential sales opportunities, nurturing leads, and converting prospects into long-term partners. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the cargo and logistics sector.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape shifts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure accurate service delivery.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports to the management team regularly.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Analyze customer requirements and propose appropriate logistics solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments to enhance sales tactics and strategies.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in sales within the logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve company goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting tasks.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
