Job Description

Our company is searching for a skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical knowledge and sales expertise to support our sales initiatives and provide solutions to meet our clients' needs. As a Sales Engineer, you will be directly engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, and translating them into actionable solutions using our range of products and services. You will bridge the gap between the technical and sales teams, ensuring that the client's technical specifications are understood and met while driving the growth of the company. With a focus on building sustainable relationships, you will help us achieve our sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze customer needs to tailor solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase product capabilities to clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Offer after-sales support services to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Travel to client locations when necessary to provide hands-on support and expertise.
  • Gather and assess market data to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Develop and maintain long-standing relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Prepare and manage sales proposals, presentations, and contracts effectively and efficiently.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to close deals successfully.
  • Collaborate with product management to relay customer feedback and relevant market insights.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to enhance product knowledge and expand client network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a technical sales role is required.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications to manage sales operations.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and provide hands-on service as needed.
