Job Description
The Retail Advisory Analyst role involves analyzing retail market data and providing insights to support business decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, market research expertise, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret retail market data, including sales trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis.
- Use data visualization tools and techniques to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences, market opportunities, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to develop strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Assist in the development of pricing and assortment strategies based on market analysis.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing market trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovation, and best practices in retail and consumer goods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or similar role in the retail industry.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software.
- Knowledge of retail market dynamics and consumer behavior.
- Proficient in using data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data to diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
