Job Description

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. This includes overseeing all dining operations, managing staff, and providing outstanding customer service to our patrons. You will be responsible for ensuring that staff adhere to quality, service, and cleanliness standards, while also fostering a positive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure. The Restaurant Supervisor is crucial in executing the restaurant's strategy and meeting business objectives. With a focus on operational excellence, you will drive sales and profitability, while also ensuring customer satisfaction and engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery.
  • Manage and supervise restaurant staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all operations.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain food service standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and efficiency.
  • Lead team meetings to communicate business objectives and motivate staff.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to track restaurant performance and identify trends.
  • Promote a positive work environment to boost morale and productivity among staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by management policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations and customer complaints effectively.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in food services.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to meet various operational demands.
