Job Description

The role of a Reservation Agent - Arabic Speaker is a pivotal part of a customer service team dedicated to ensuring guests have a positive and seamless experience when booking their accommodations. This position requires a candidate who is fluent in Arabic to communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking clients, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to multitask and an excellent understanding of reservation systems and procedures. They will also demonstrate a committed and proactive approach to solving problems and an enthusiastic attitude when providing service. As the face of the reservation department, this agent is responsible for maintaining high service standards and a deep understanding of the products and services offered. This role also demands thoroughness, reliability, and exceptional organizational skills to manage bookings and details accurately.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients in Arabic to deliver exceptional booking experiences.
  • Enter reservations requests accurately into the hotel management system promptly.
  • Provide detailed information about accommodations, rates, and amenities to clients.
  • Manage and confirm adjustments and cancellations per company policies.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure guests receive top-notch service.
  • Update and maintain accurate client records, adhering to data privacy regulations.
  • Handle inquiries from clients effectively, providing knowledgeable support services.
  • Resolve booking issues and service problems with patience and competence.
  • Assist in upselling additional services or amenities to increase revenue.
  • Monitor reservation systems and flag any discrepancies promptly for resolution.
  • Participate in training programs to remain updated on industry trends and system updates.
  • Generate daily and monthly reports reflecting the reservations and booking patterns.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or reservation role is preferred.
  • Experience using reservation systems, such as Opera or Fidelio, is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing bookings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.
  • A positive attitude and problem-solving skills to handle difficult situations.
