Job Description
A Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care in various healthcare settings. They assess patients' health conditions, develop care plans, administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and their families about healthcare. Registered Nurses collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care. The role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Registered Nurses must stay updated on best practices and regulations in nursing.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and symptoms.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate and manage patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare, treatments, and medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure patient safety by implementing infection control measures and following healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on best practices and regulations in nursing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations.
- Continued professional development and staying updated on latest advancements in nursing.
