Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in our emergency unit, you will play a critical role in providing front-line care to patients experiencing urgent and life-threatening conditions. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and implementing immediate medical interventions to stabilize patients. This fast-paced and challenging role requires a high degree of adaptability, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and promptly determine the required interventions.
  • Administer emergency medical treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Develop care plans tailored to the specific needs and conditions of each patient.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients' families to provide updates and care instructions.
  • Ensure the emergency department equipment is functional and well-maintained.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on emergency care practices.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and healthcare staff.
  • Assist in the triage process by prioritizing patients based on their medical needs.
  • Remain composed and efficient during high-pressure situations and medical emergencies.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients experiencing distress or anxiety.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in nursing, ideally in an emergency setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of emergency medical procedures and treatments is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and families.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced and frequently changing work environments.
