  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain high-quality, integrated patient care.
  • Lead and participate in clinical research projects to advance the field of ophthalmology.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and medical students.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and document care in compliance with health regulations.

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments and effectively communicate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate with optometrists, orthoptists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain and enhance professional competencies.
  • Engage in community outreach for educational purposes and to improve public eye health awareness.

Requirements

  • Medical degree and completion of a recognized ophthalmology residency program.
  • Board certification or equivalent in ophthalmology is essential for this role.
  • Substantial experience in ophthalmic surgery, including complex surgical procedures.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in using advanced ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical equipment.
  • Strong research interest with a history of participation in clinical studies preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education in ophthalmology.
  • Valid medical license to practice .
