Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers. As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the health and recovery of patients through the implementation of nursing care plans. You will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medication, and providing support and guidance to patients and their families. With an emphasis on patient-centered care and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes, this position requires a proactive individual who is able to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy. As a key member of our medical team, your contribution will be essential to delivering exceptional healthcare services and ensuring patient satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments to establish and implement effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians accurately and safely.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care strategies.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries effectively.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
  • Provide intravenous therapy and wound care following established protocols.
  • Assist in medical procedures and coordinate with other health professionals as necessary.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment in the unit.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with all safety standards.
  • Advocate for patients to enhance their access to healthcare services and resources.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first-line care interventions.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure with the state Board of Nursing is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in clinical communication, patient assessment, and care coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nursing practice laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and handle emergency situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to delivering patient-centered care.
