What You Will Contribute
The Regional Sales Leader UAE is responsible for driving growth in the water and wastewater sector, with strong expertise in flow instrumentation, analyzers, and network monitoring solutions. A results-oriented professional, the Regional Sales Leader UAE actively engages with key customers, cultivates long-term relationships, and consistently delivers on sales targets. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a collaborative mindset to accelerate the revenue growth across the region. This position is a hybrid role, combining individual sales contribution with supervisory leadership for sales managers to achieve strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Build and expand relationships with existing and new customers by understanding their businesses and proactively delivering tailored solutions.
Act as both a supervisor and an individual contributor, balancing leadership with hands-on customer engagement and business development.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue and market share targets.
Drive Badger Meter’s sales efforts in defined target markets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term strategy.
Assess, develop, and manage key accounts and channel partners to maximize growth opportunities.
Strengthen brand awareness by improving engagement with end users and channel partners in collaboration with corporate marketing.
Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends in the water and wastewater domain, capturing growth through consultative selling and solution-oriented approaches.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, after-sales support, and technical teams to optimize customer experience and solution delivery.
Conduct commercial and technical negotiations, supporting clients on quality management, project delivery, and payment terms.
Analyze sales performance using CRM, MicroStrategy, and ERP systems to track progress, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
Represent the company in trade fairs, industry events, and customer forums to strengthen visibility and thought leadership.
Handle customer escalations and complaints with the support team, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience balancing individual contribution with team leadership responsibilities.
Preferably experience and detailed knowledge in municipal water, flow instrumentation, and/or water quality instrumentation and associated solutions.
Strong track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in regional or international markets.
Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and train customers, distributors, and sales teams.
Fluent in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Arabic language is desired.
Progressive, driven, and strategic thinker with strong networking ability.
Self-motivated, tenacious professional with a “can-do” mindset and strong accountability.
Solid project management skills and ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Ability to travel up to 50% across assigned markets.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
