Regional Buyer - (Middle East, North Africa, Turkey)

Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team works to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.

Partner with the best

You will be responsible for managing the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy and interface between the supplier and the entity concerning specifications and budgets. Positions require a thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies, and applications in a concrete organisational context.

As a Regional Buyer, you will be responsible for:


  • Placing and following up on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
  • Advising functional managers on projects, processes, and procedures within their field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
  • Contributing to the project as a team member or leading small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete, and the time horizon for results/impact generally is 2-12 months after the event

To be successful in this role, you will:


  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Buying-Procurement.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be able to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • have effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Have proven analytical and organisational ability.
