Job Description

A Recruitment Officer plays a crucial role in the talent acquisition process, ensuring the organization attracts and hires suitable candidates for various roles. The position requires an individual with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. As a Recruitment Officer, you will work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, draft job descriptions, and create recruitment plans. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent. This role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and has the ability to evaluate resumes and conduct initial interviews effectively. Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers to identify current and future recruitment needs.
  • Create detailed job descriptions and specifications aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to source suitable candidates.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates for interview processes.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview sessions with hiring companies.
  • Maintain an effective candidate database ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Build and manage relationships with recruitment agencies and job portals.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements on internal and external platforms.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment conferences to network with talent and agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and uphold recruitment best practices in all processes.
  • Offer guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Report on recruitment metrics, track progress, and provide insights for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer, HR Consultant, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and resume databases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruiting and hiring.
