We are seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join our team as a Receptionist Cum Admission Officer. This pivotal role involves serving as the initial point of contact for prospective students and their families while also managing the front office operations of our institution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, embody a friendly and professional demeanor, and have the ability to multitask efficiently. As a Receptionist Cum Admission Officer, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and ensuring the smooth processing of admissions documentation. Your responsibilities will extend beyond typical reception duties; you will also assist with enrollment processes and represent our institution’s values and culture to prospective students. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and has a great sense of organization.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors, providing them with a positive first impression of the institution.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with informational materials.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
  • Provide prospective students and families with admissions information and campus tours.
  • Facilitate the admissions process by collecting and reviewing application documents.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for meetings with admissions staff and faculty members.
  • Maintain and update student records and databases accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of open house events and other recruitment activities.
  • Respond to inquiries about the institution’s educational programs and services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and operations.
  • Handle mail distribution, couriers, and deliveries promptly and efficiently.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and courtesy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Proficient in using office software such as MS Office and phone systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the admissions process and educational environment is an advantage.
