Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic imaging examinations and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. A successful candidate should have a deep understanding of medical imaging technologies and radiographic techniques, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Radiographer, you will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the precise capture of images and the safety of patients during imaging procedures. Your ability to operate sophisticated imaging equipment and your knowledge of anatomy and pathology must be exemplary. Responsibilities

  • Operate X-ray, MRI, and CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Ensure patient’s safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures.
  • Review and evaluate images to determine if they are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately according to the examination requirements.
  • Maintain radiology equipment to ensure it is in good working condition at all times.
  • Assist radiologists with image interpretation by providing additional clarification if needed.
  • Practice radiation safety and follow protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures following healthcare regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiographic technology and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and answer any questions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives related to radiography services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or an Associate's degree in Radiography.
  • Valid license to practice radiography in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in radiographic or diagnostic imaging.
  • Proficient in operating radiographic equipment, including X-ray and MRI machines.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and various diagnostic and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
