Overview of the role:

  • The primary focus of the role is to ensure all vehicle service, repairs, and diagnostics meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Operating within a dynamic workshop environment, the Quality Controller systematically inspects completed work, identifies defects or non-conformities, and collaborates closely with technicians and service teams to uphold manufacturer quality standards and enhance customer satisfaction.

What equips you for the role:

  • Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or related field
  • IMI LV L2 or equivalent
  • High Level Brand Certification E.g. Diagnostic Master, Gold, Level 3 etc.
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in automotive quality control, preferably in a dealer service environment
  • Valid UAE driver’s license
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
  • Experience of a methodical approach to inspections
  • Experience with quality assurance standards and continuous improvement practices
  • Knowledge of Volvo vehicles, systems, and repair procedures is highly desirable
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and inspection tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environmen

Required Skills to be successful:

  • - Experience with diagnostics electric vehicles
  • - Technical experience and ISO 9002
  • - Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP
  • - Communication skills

About the Team:

  • Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
