Quality Assurance Engineer 1

Job Description

This role will be a member of Software Engineering in-house team building for Zed. Who will be working on the testing of Zed Mobile Apps and Web App. Engineer will be testing all features defined in Sprints with timely execution of overall test plan before every release

Responsibilities

STRATEGIC :

Will be responsible for testing of Product features in a timely agreed SLA duration across multiple environments.

Will be responsible for overall bug count and stability of production apps release.

Operational

• Creation and execution of test plan
• Define testing strategies for existing products both mobile apps and web apps
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing cycle
• Documentation of test results for the software development team
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance the user experience
• Works with the designer and engineers to identify the gaps in development
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  
  

• Experience using testing methods: Unit/Integration/Regression/System/Performance/Ad-hoc testing
• Hands-on experience any test scripting tool Selenium, Jmeter, Appium
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
