QA/QC Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects adhere to established quality standards and meet regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Review and approve quality-related documentation, such as material submittals and testing reports.
  • Monitor and assess construction activities to ensure they align with approved plans and specifications.
  • Identify and document non-compliance issues, and work with project teams to develop corrective action plans.
  • Conduct audits of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related documentation.
  • Generate reports detailing QA/QC findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide timely updates to project stakeholders on quality performance.
  • Provide guidance and training to project teams on QA/QC processes and requirements.
  • Conduct workshops or seminars to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Ensure that construction activities align with local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide input on QA/QC matters.
