Job Description

As a Property Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the management and efficient operation of a real estate or property management company. Your main responsibility will be to provide administrative support and ensure smooth operations by managing various property-related activities. You will be expected to handle tenant communications, manage records, and coordinate with other staff to maintain properties effectively. Additionally, your role may involve dealing with lease agreements, coordinating repairs and maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with property regulations. An ideal candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills to liaise between different parties effectively. Responsibilities

  • Manage tenant inquiries and facilitate effective communication channels between tenants and management.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repair tasks promptly to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Oversee lease agreements and ensure compliance with all relevant property regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of property expenses, invoices, and tenant information for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in property inspections and ensure properties meet safety and aesthetic standards.
  • Facilitate the preparation and distribution of property-related documents and notices to tenants.
  • Collaborate with leasing agents to enhance rental processes and maximize occupancy rates.
  • Supervise and manage vendor contracts and service agreements related to property operations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants to enhance occupancy retention rates.
  • Ensure timely collection of rents and manage any related financial discrepancies effectively.
  • Provide administrative support to property managers and other team members as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of property management policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in property management or a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with tenants, vendors, and staff.
  • Familiarity with property management software and general office applications.
  • Understanding of property regulations, lease agreements, and general real estate procedures.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenging situations.
