Project Engineer - Mechanical

With some of our exciting launches such as Burj Azizi (the second tallest tower in the world), Monaco Mansions and Azizi Venice – Dubai’s new luxurious Venetian-Inspired Waterfront community, we are rapidly expanding our onsite Supervision team based at Dubai.

As a Project Engineer - You will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring all mechanical installations on site — including HVAC, chilled water systems, fire suppression, domestic water supply, drainage, and building management systems — ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems, at various stages of construction.
• Ensure all mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable local authority regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify non-conformances, prepare inspection reports, and monitor corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of technical and quality issues.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare periodic progress and quality reports.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical inspection / supervision.
• Background within consultant or supervision firms in the UAE.
• Proven experience on high-rise towers and residential building projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, fire suppression, plumbing, drainage, and BMS.
