Job Description

The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the project management team by ensuring efficient execution and delivery of projects. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining communication between various departments, and ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within budget. The Project Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for project team members, clients, and stakeholders. They are responsible for maintaining documentation, tracking project progress, and assisting in resource allocation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A successful Project Coordinator thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills, which are essential for addressing challenges and ensuring project success.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are progressing as planned.
  • Assist project managers in developing project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records for reference and compliance.
  • Monitor project schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the organization and facilitation of project meetings and workshops.
  • Track and manage project resources, ensuring efficient allocation throughout the project.
  • Identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact project progress.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve conflicts and ensure project harmony.
  • Support project managers in budget tracking and financial reporting activities.
  • Ensure all project deliverables adhere to quality standards and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of proven experience in a project coordination role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interactions.
  • Experienced in using project management software and tools like MS Project.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage stress effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
