Production Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team in the UAE. This role is responsible for creating efficient production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory targets, and resource availability

• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet changing priorities and customer demands

• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components

• Identify capacity constraints and collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve bottlenecks

• Analyze production performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, output, delays, and variances

• Prepare reports and present planning updates to management on a regular basis

• Ensure alignment of production activities with quality standards and safety regulations

• Participate in planning meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Support ERP/MRP system updates and ensure accurate data entry related to production planning

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and planning software/tools

• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is an advantage

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus

• Familiarity with UAE labor and safety regulations is preferred
