Job Description


  • Effectively manage +$30MM in spend across HR, IT, Admin, Marketing, Legal and Compliance and different type of supplementary stuff in close collaboration with the main stakeholders in the GCC (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar), International Markets ; and Global Procurement Team
  • Support defining short, middle and long term commercial Corporate Services strategy for our operations across the region.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and suppliers to develop and implement category strategies to drive alignment and ensure quality of services and improved Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) value to the business on a sustainable basis.
  • Drive effective and data driven supplier negotiations based on internal, external benchmarking data, market trends, and supplier price models to support above category strategy execution to meet business objectives for the category.
  • Independently and proactively identifies areas of opportunity for new business opportunities, process improvement, and cost efficiencies.
  • Develop and handle annual budgets and monthly forecasts for cash flow, purchase price variance, and other financial metrics for the assigned categories.


Requirements


  • Economic / Engineer / Business Background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, and/or supply chain management in the food industry
  • Fluent in English (Arabic, is preferable but not a must)


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.
  • MCIPS or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, and/or supply chain management in food industry.
  • Experience negotiating complex service agreements and sourcing for multiple indirect categories.
  • Experience in RFI/RFP/RFQ development, evaluation, negotiations, execution, and contract management.
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the understanding of legal issues, contractual principles, and negotiation techniques used in the development of complex contractual agreement.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems (SAP, ARIBA, COUPA); must be familiar with supply base performance metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Solid knowledge / background of Middle East market
  • Cultural sensibility to work in different environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Result Oriented, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, able to meet tight deadlines and to manage a challenging workload
