Job Description

As a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in the operations of our company by managing the supply of products and services essential for our daily operations. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient procurement of goods and services while fostering sustainable relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Your key objectives will include cost-saving, improving efficiency, ensuring the timeliness of supplies, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. You will navigate market trends and negotiate contracts to secure the best deals, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Your ability to analyze data, forecast needs, and strategically oversee all procurement functions will contribute significantly to the growth and success of our organization.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and goals.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and supply agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new partnerships as needed.
  • Oversee the procurement budget and ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Monitor market trends to identify changes or shifts that could impact supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement practices.
  • Analyze procurement data to forecast needs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and manage the performance evaluation processes for suppliers and vendors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Conduct risk assessments on suppliers and products and mitigate potential risks.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement specialists, providing guidance and training.
  • Continuously review processes and create strategies for improved efficiency and efficacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement management positions with significant responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in market forecasting and data analysis.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and train procurement teams.
  • Familiarity with relevant software, such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration.
  • Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving procurement efficiency.
