Provide a courteous service to all customers and internal and external stakeholders (i.e. passenger services agents, cargo handling agents, police etc.) with the physical movement of goods (i.e. baggage, baby strollers, cargo shipments) within a designated work area.

In This Role You Well

  • DXB/DWC
  • - In line with work instructions load and unload passenger baggage or cargo shipments (dependent on deployment) at designated areas across either DXB/DWC airports ensuring a safe and timely service for our passengers/customers.
  • Handle passenger baggage or cargo shipments (dependent on deployment) in a safe and secure manner following correct tagging and handling procedures and identify and report any safety breaches in a timely manner.
  • Identify and report any damage to passenger baggage or cargo shipments to ensure that this is recorded and handled appropriately to minimise the risk of customer complaints.
  • AIRPORT SERVICES SPECIFIC JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Collect and distribute our trolleys and babystrollers across the designated points in the airport to ensure that supply meets the expected demand.
  • Identify and report dirty and/or broken trolleys/babystrollers and remove or replace as appropriate.
  • Ensure that billing and cash collection guidelines are followed and report any discrepancies immediately.
  • CARGO-SPECIFIC JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Adhere to all safety work practices by wearing the required PPE, following safety rules and reporting safety concerns.
  • Follow EU GDP guidelines/regulations as per the standards prescribed in the relevant training, when assigned to handle pharma shipments.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage.
  • Ability to lift heavy luggage/equipment (in excess of 30Kgs).
  • Ability to read English and converse in simple English.
