Job Description

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of generating sales strategies and leading a team towards achieving sales targets within your given territory. Your role is pivotal in fostering deep relationships with key healthcare professionals, building brand loyalty, and delivering exceptional business growth. You will collaborate closely with marketing teams to design innovative strategies tailored to capturing market share, educating healthcare professionals on the benefits of our products, and ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped with in-depth product knowledge and sales techniques. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet both individual and team goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare industry.
  • Monitor industry trends and product developments to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design product marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data and market insights to drive strategic decision-making processes.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve team knowledge on company products and sales techniques.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies in all sales processes.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments for expansion and growth.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
  • Respond swiftly to customer inquiries, issues, and feedback to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a pharmaceutical sales or sales management role is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry regulations, and practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex sales data and translate insights into strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients and manage the sales territory.
